Council Wants E-ID Card Recording Continues to be Socialized

City Population and Civil Registration was instructed to urge residents immediately propose e-ID card, even though its deadline has been exceeded until 2017.

He regrets the deadline was extended from the end of September 2016 became the middle of next year. It was not expected to happen again in the future.

"Actually it's very unfortunate, because e-ID Card processing in Jakarta is almost done. Public enthusiastic is worried could be decreased," he exclaimed.

Separately, Head of City Population and Civil Registration Dept, Edison Sianturi stated, until now, there are still 164 thousand out of 7.43 million applicants who have not processed e-ID card.

"Recording process is almost done. The rest is predicted still in abroad or working in outside the city thus not yet record," he said.
